Darla

Darla weighed 70 grams when she was born. I've never seen anything so tiny and perfect before.

Here she is couple of days old, still her eyes closed.

Bigfoot ;)

Here she is three weeks old.

She was the first of the kittens to leave "the nest", one night she had moved from my bathroom to the livingroom and was sleeping under their scratching post. Since she was so tiny it took me awhile to find her ;) Even if I carried her back, she would stubbornly wonder out again. The others soon followed.

A perfect place for a little nap - right next to the heater.

"My, what big ears you have!"

Chillin' with mom.

Hello Kitties

Couple of years ago Buffy got kittens. Here she is week before those kittens were born.

The best place to give birth was in a same basket with Guinness and Ola. I guess she felt safe there.

The little guys were naturally named in the same fashion than their momma,

Darla

Xander

and Spike!

Although kittens = chaos it was the most amazing experience to see them open their eyes for the first time, learn to walk, learn to eat and to grow up to be proper cats.

Here the kittens are 4 days old.

And here 4 weeks.

Buffy ( the Mouse Slayer )

This is Buffy, a beautiful Cornish Rex cat who used to live with me. When I saw these pics of her online, I just knew I had to have her :)

When I got her I had two options for a name, Baileys or Buffy. I thought I would decide when I get to know her better, if she would be calm and easy going she would be Baileys and if she would be spirited, then Buffy. Enough said - it took about two minutes to see that she was indeed Buffy ;)

When Buffy arrived she was really brave and got along very well with my two other cats Guinness and Ola. Her favorite place to sleep was with her friends....

...or on top of my DVD player, because that was a nice and warm place.

She had her "alien moments" too ;)

And she has this cutest little heart shaped pattern on her left flank.

She was really obsessed with scratching windows, she could do this for hours!

Buffy's workout:

Unfortunately after she had kittens I had to find her a new home, since she became really agressive towards other cats. Now she lives happily as "an only child". I'm kind of a designated cat-sitter for her so I still get to see her once or twice a year :)
